Buttermilk Ranch Dressing


Buttermilk Ranch Dressing Recipe

Ingredients:
For 1 c.

½ c. of buttermilk
¼ c. reduced-fat mayonnaise
2 T. of champagne, or white-wine vinegar
½ tsp. of granulated garlic
½ tsp. of salt
½ tsp. of pepper
⅓ c. of chopped fresh herbs, such as chives, tarragon, basil or dill

Directions:

Whisk buttermilk, mayonnaise, champagne (or white-wine vinegar), garlic, salt and pepper in a small bowl until smooth. Stir in herbs.

Comeback Sauce

(This sauce is delicious; I use it as a dip with all kinds of foods. My favorite thing to eat it with is onion rings.)

Ingredients:
makes a pint jar full

1 c. of mayonnaise
¼ c. of ketchup
¼ c. of chili sauce
1 tsp. of Dijon mustard
1 tsp. of onion powder
1/2 tsp. of garlic powder
2 tsp. of Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. of ground black pepper
¼ tsp. of Tabasco sauce
¼ c. of light olive oil
juice of one lemon

Directions:
Mix all ingredients well and store in refrigerator overnight.

Ranch Bean Dip

  

Ingredients:

For 8 servings

1 can (16 oz.) of refried beans
2 c. of shredded cheddar cheese
1 (oz.) package of ranch dressing mix

1 c. of sour cream

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine beans, cheese, ranch dressing mix, and sour cream.
  2. Heat the mixture over a medium heat, stir until the ingredients are well blended and warm.
